A high school has been focusing on key social issues during a week centring on equality.
The campaigns and equality society at Hobart High School, in Loddon, has organised the week to broaden students' horizons.
Each year group has been focusing on particular areas, including religious diversity, LGBT issues, mental health and Amnesty International.
Speakers including Lee Johnson, from the Access Community Trust, have spoken to pupils, and an Equali-tea, with various activities, was held on Wednesday.
Lois Nethersell, assistant head of humanities at the school and one of the trio that runs the society, said: 'We want our students to think about the society we live in and hope this will broaden their horizons.'
She said they hoped the week could become a yearly event.
Students in the society, along with coorganisers Sarah Matthews and Michelle Webb, helped stage the week.
