Ed Sheeran has been revealed as the most-streamed artist on Spotify of 2017.
The singer-songwriter from Framlingham topped the list after his tracks were streamed a total of 6.3bn times throughout the year.

All of these figures have helped the 26-year-old become the most popular male artist worldwide on Spotify, beating out the likes of The Weeknd and Drake.

If this weren't enough, the Thinking Out Loud singer may be on the way to claim his fourth Number 1 on the Official Singles Chart as his latest song, a reworked version of Perfect on which he duets with Beyonce, is storming the chart. Industry experts are suggesting it could become this year's Christmas Number 1.
