Some of the secrets of science will be unveiled to young and old at an upcoming family-friendly event.
The first-ever Eaton Park Science Day will take place on Saturday, March 11, and feature the University of East Anglia's child science team, Norwich Fitness Club, Mini Professors and others.
The child-focused event is being organised by Jessica Suter, who has just finished studying for her own science degree. Miss Suter said she wanted to encourage others to consider getting into scientific fields.
She said: 'We have a variety of activities for people of all ages including 'what kind of secret scientist are you?', 'the science of gaming', 'nature walks' and much more.'
The free event at the Eaton Park Community Centre will run from 9am to 12pm. Visit www.eventbrite.co.uk to register.
Any proceeds will go to the charity Pregnancy Sickness Support.
