A driver was taken to hospital after their car rolled and ended up on its roof in an accident at Crostwick this morning.

The incident happened on the B1150 North Walsham Road at around 5.10am, and fire crews spent an hour cutting the casualty free from the Ford Mondeo.

Diversions were put in place while crews worked and the vehicle was recovered, but the road had reopened by 7.10am.

The casualty was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
