A man was caught driving at 62mph in a 30mph-zone in Dereham on Thursday.
It happened just before midnight yesterday in Yaxham Road.
The driver was clocked during a static speed enforcement operation by police.
Officers have issued the driver, in his 20s, with a traffic offence report.
Police have been cracking down on speeding drivers as well as motorists using mobile phones over the last month.
