A DOG WALKER was knocked unconscious after being assaulted at a play park in Worlingham last night.
The 39-year-old sustained a bloody nose, grazes to his top lip and chin, had a tooth dislodged and a split bottom lip after the attack at All Saints Green at around 9.15pm.
The man had taken his dog for a walk and had sat down on a bench in the park to have a cigarette when he was approached by a small group, of about four or five individuals, who made a comment about his dog before assaulting him.
One of the individuals involved was a lot shorter than the rest and one wore a dark green hooded top made from a shell-suit type material.
Police are asking anyone who may have seen the incident, anyone who may have seen a group in the area around this time last night or anyone with information about who was involved to call PC 1071 Basey Fisher on 101.
