A Diss playgroup leader has spoken of her delight after her group beat off competition from larger Norwich-based playgroups to pick up a prestigious award from website Netmums.
Rachel Baker, who runs IMPS at the United Reformed Church in Mere Street, was thrilled after receiving the Best pre-school class in south Norfolk award.
She said: 'I am so chuffed because we were up against bigger playgroups, including Tiny Jack in Norwich. For a start, we had to be nominated by people who think our group is good.'
The group, which provides creative play for children aged up to five, received a certificate in recognition of the achievement.
