Police say a property on The Watlings was broken into on Tuesday afternoon.
The thief or thieves struck between 1pm and 3.20pm, stealing handbags and jewellery after forcing their way in.
Police are appealing for information. Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area, or who has any information, should call Det Con Debbie Johnston at Thetford CID on 101.
