People from as far away as Norwich and Bury St Edmunds flocked to Dersingham at the weekend for a popular annual lace making event.

It was the fifth time that the Dersingham Lace Makers have held the event at St George's Junior School and 55 keen lace makers attended.

The event gave people the chance to catch up with friends, talk about patterns and get help if they had a problem with a pattern.

Barbara Lake, who helped organise the event, said: 'It was a great day and I don't think the talking stopped which to us is always a good sign that it was a successful day.

'We also raise money for charity and good causes during these events. Last year we raised 631 for the Dersingham First Responders and this year we raised 480 for the Hunstanton First Responders.'

The Dersingham Lace Makers meet once a fortnight at St Cecilia's Church.
