Wild west display, classic cars and football tournament among attractions
Villagers near Downham Market are hoping tomorrow's weather will live-up to summer expectations for a family event in Denver.
Organisers of the annual fun day are raising cash for the vilage playing field and have a range of attractions planned for Sunday.
Visitors will be able to enjoy a fun fair, stalls, barbecue and pony rides along with displays in the main arena including gymnastics.
'We are raising money for the playing field and have done some alterations to the clubhouse already, but hope to do some more,' said Alan Thulbourne, one of the organisers.
Younger visitors will be able to take part in three mini-soccer tournaments for the under-8s, 9s, and 10s, while a wild west display will also be on offer.
Enthusiasts will also have the chance to take a closer look at a display of classic cars, tractors, lorries and motorbikes while live music and a bar will help the event's party atmosphere.
The Denver family fun day runs from 10am to 5pm on the Downham Road playing field.
