Train passengers travelling between Norwich and London faced disruption after a vehicle struck a bridge at Trowse.
Greater Anglia Abellio said that had caused delays of up to 20 minutes between Norwich and Ipswich.
The 10.30am service between Norwich and London Liverpool Street was cancelled. The 1pm Liverpool Street to Norwich service is starting from Colchester.
Trains were running normally again by 1pm.
