Delays of up to an hour are being experienced along the A140.
A tweet from BBC Norfolk Travel warned motorists heading to Norwich from Pulham that temporary lights were adding an hour to journey times.
The delays are being caused by roadworks at Long Stratton with temporary lights near to Field Acre Way and the Churchfields estate.
Delays of 30 minutes were also being experienced from Norwich to Newton Flotman.
