Road works caused delays in Dereham today as temporary traffic lights were put in place while UK Power Network carried out some scheduled work.
There was congestion at peak times along Yaxham Road and the Yaxham Road roundabout as well as the A47 slip-road.
The work is taking place opposite the Lynn Hill Petrol Station which is currently undergoing redevelopment.
A spokesman for Norfolk County Council said: 'We are aware of the traffic issues and have an inspector visiting the site. Utilities provider, UK Power Network, had scheduled this work and hopefully, will complete by the end of today.'
