Drivers can expect delays this morning following a crash involving two cars on the A1088 in Ixworth.
Paramedics, firefighters and police remain at the scene of the collision in the west Suffolk village.
The incident was reported at around 6.20am.
Both lanes are blocked, and police are directing traffic.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a 'significant' injury has been reported at the scene.
Three fire engines were called to the scene at 6.24am. Crews worked at the for just over an hour.
