A female cyclist died in a collision with a black Fiat Punto on the Herringfleet Road, St Olaves, near Yarmouth, at 6.25am this morning.
The male driver of the car has been arrested by police and is being questioned at Yarmouth police station.
Sgt Andy Hood, of Acle road policing, is appealing for information about the crash - close to the junction with the A143 - particularly concerning the direction of travel and movements of both the car and bike prior to the collision. Call him at Acle police station on 0845 4564567.
