Cyclist involved in collision with car in Lowestoft

A male cyclist in his 40s has been injured after he was involved in a collision with a grey BMW in Lowestoft.
Emergency services were called at about 7.35am this morning (Monday) to Elm Tree Road- close to the roundabout at Long Road.
The incident has caused early morning tailbacks in the area as the road was blocked.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: 'A paramedic in a rapid response vehicle and ambulance crew attended.
'They treated a man in his late 40s who had back pain who was taken to James Paget University Hospital for further treatment.'
Motorists were urged to avoid the area if possible with delays on local bus routes.
First Bus tweeted: 'RTC on Elm Tree Road Lowestoft this AM. Delays on services X2 and 111. Apologies.'
