A 45-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collarbone this morning after being hit by a car, which failed to stop.Police are appealing for information into the hit and run incident, which happened at about 10am on the B1107 Brandon Road, near Thetford.
A 45-year-old cyclist was taken to hospital with a suspected broken collarbone this morning after being hit by a car, which failed to stop.
Police are appealing for information into the hit and run incident, which happened at about 10am on the B1107 Brandon Road, near Thetford.
The woman was cycling towards Thetford when she was struck by a small red vehicle travelling in the same direction about a mile away from the town.
The injured cyclist was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital at Bury St Edmunds by land ambulance.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnesses the incident or the offending vehicle to contact Thetford police station on 0845 456 4567.
