A female cyclist is recovering in hospital after being knocked off her bike by a double-decker bus on Mile Cross Lane, Norwich today.
A female cyclist is recovering in hospital after being knocked off her bike by a double-decker bus on Mile Cross Lane, Norwich today.
The young woman was hit by the number nine bus at the junction of St Faith's Road and Mile Cross Lane at about 6.50am. She broke her shoulder in the collision and was taken to Norfolk and Norwich hospital.
The junction was closed until 7.40am.
The bus driver has been interviewed by police and the First Group bus company.
A spokesperson for First said: “We take safety extremely seriously and will be helping any investigation”.
