A picture of a range of rocky mountains on the Isle of Skye in Scotland was among the winners in a competition run by the North Norfolk Photographic Society.
Photographer Roy Essery came from Colchester to judge the works, and first place in the advanced members section went to Nick Akers for The Cuillin Hills, a view of mountains across a lively sea with rocks in the foreground.
Second was Malcolm English with Laura, a beautifully set picture of a nude, and third was Keeping Watch from Paul Richards.
The winner in the novices section was Val Dawson whose moody monochrome print The Old Recluse shows an old man in a hood in a tacky shack. Second was Val Dawson, again, with Secured and third was Karen Spence's photo Buttermere walk, Cumbria.
Society meetings are normally held on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at Holt community centre.
