A 47-year-old mother died at her home in Cromer after taking a fatal mix of drugs, an inquest heard.
Joanna King was found by police at Cabbell Road on December 1. She had a history of drug abuse and depression and had tried to kill herself twice during the year.
But the inquest in Norwich on Wednesday was told Miss King had shown no suicidal signs leading up to her death. She had been looking forward to her daughter returning from university at Christmas.
Deputy Norfolk coroner Jacqueline Lake recorded a verdict of suicide while the balance of her mind was disturbed, and was was satisfied the mental health team dealing with her did all they could to assist with Miss King's condition.
