Vandals have damaged four windows at a community centre in Thetford.

Small cracks have been caused in four windows at the Redcastle Furze Community Centre in Thetford between 6.30pm on August 11 and midday the following day.

The centre hosts the Meet Up Cafe, which is run by Norwich charity, the Benjamin Foundation.

Mike Towndrow, Meet Up Cafe manager, said the damage was 'senseless'.

'It's the first time something like this has happened here since I joined in 2013, and we are normally lucky with kids respecting the centre and what we do.

'I think this was just a senseless act,' he said.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Anyone with information should contact PC Carlos D'Silva at Thetford Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
