Two people have been shot in Norwich with what police believe was a pellet gun after a number of windows were smashed in a series of incidents in the city.
The first incident took place in Globe Place sometime between 8.30am and 11.30am on Wednesday August 31 when someone smashed a flat window. A second window was then smashed in Walpole Gardens at 9pm on the same day.
A man was then shot, with what police believe was a pellet gun, in Trinity Street at around 1.20pm on Thursday September 1. The second shooting, again with a pellet gun, took place in Essex Street at 12.15am on Sunday September 4, when a cyclist was shot.
Police are investigating the possibility that all four incidents are linked.
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the incidents and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
