Nathaniel Dunkley, 38, from Warley Hill, Warley, Brentwood, and Twayne White, 20, from Hainault Road in London, were sentenced on Monday at Ipswich Crown Court having been convicted of drugs offences at an earlier hearing.

They were both arrested by police in Norwich on February 22, 2016, having been found in possession of a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin.

An investigation into the men was done by the Norwich Neighbourhood Policing Team, under Norfolk Police's Operation Gravity crackdown.

It found Dunkley and White had targeted the home address of a vulnerable person in order to help the supply of Class A drugs as part of an organised supply chain operating from London.

Operation Gravity was launched in December 2016.

It targets criminals travelling into the county involved in drug related crime and a large proportion of the work has been focussed on supporting those vulnerable members of communities who are being taken advantage of.

Dunkley was jailed for five years after being found guilty of possession of heroin, and crack cocaine with intent to supply and a further offence of possessing criminal property.

White was jailed for three years after pleading guilty to possession of heroin, and crack cocaine with intent to supply at an earlier hearing in June 2016.

The officer in case, PC Craig Bidwell, said: 'I hope that this sentence demonstrates our determination to pursue those people intent on targeting the most vulnerable people in society in order to facilitate their criminality.

'Under Operation Gravity we continue to work tirelessly with our partner agencies to tackle the issue of county lines drug supply in our region and this sentencing is a welcomed result.'
