Police appeal after young boy is pushed off bike in Norwich

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 12-year-old boy was pushed off his bike and had to be taken to hospital.

Between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on Sunday, August 19 the youngster was cycling along Winalls Yard, near the YMCA hostel at Norwich Bus Station, when he was approached by three young men and a woman.

He was chased on his bike towards Queens Road when he was pushed, causing him to fall off his bike into railings and was then pushed to the floor and suffered a fractured elbow.

The suspect is described as in his late teens, 6ft tall and of slim build, with short dark hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms.

Anyone with information should call Det Con Pippa Maskell on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
