A 42-year-old Norwich man has been charged with a number of theft offences.
Richard Empson, of Parmentergate Court, St John Street, is accused of two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, one count of going equipped for theft and two counts of carrying on business as a scrap metal dealer without a licence.
The charges relate to incident which took place between September 12 2014 and April 26 this year which happened on the Sweet Briar Industrial Estate.
He has been released on conditional bail and will appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday, September 11.
