A 64-year-old man has been charged with seven wildlife offences.
Allen Lambert, of Stody, near Melton Constable will appear before King's Lynn magistrates on Thursday charged with the following: the killing of 16 wild birds namely 14 buzzards, one sparrowhawk and a tawny owl, failure to comply with a firearms certificate, possession of nine birds namely nine buzzards and four counts of possession and storage of banned poisons and pesticides namely mevinphos and aldicarb.
All the charges relate to offences commitment between January 1 and April 4 this year.
Lambert was charged with all offences on December 4 and was released on conditional police bail.
