A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a two-car crash in a city centre street this morning.
Police were called to reports of a crash in Polypin Yard, off King Street, just before 7am.
A Nissan Qashqui and a Honda Jazz had crashed and police arrested the man who was driving the Nissan on suspicion of drink driving.
A fire crew from Carrow was called to the crash, but their services were not required.
The EDP and its sister paper, the Norwich Evening News, have vowed to name and shame motorists who put lives at risk by getting behind the wheel after having had too much to drink.
