Two men have appeared in court after they were charged following the discovery of a large cannabis factory in Tharston over the weekend.
A search was carried out around 2.30pm on Sunday where officers seized around 1000 plants and a large amount of hydroponics equipment at an industrial unit in Chequers Road.
Sang Dinh Nguyen, 51, of Santareen Road in Norwich, and Son Bui, 30, of no fixed address, were both subsequently charged with being concerned in the production of a Class B drug, namely cannabis.
Both appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Wednesday (January 31).
The case was formally sent to Norwich Crown Court on February 28.
They were remanded in custody until the next hearing.
