A man has admitted taking part in a robbery at Roughton service station in which a member of staff was threatened with a knife and bound with rope before cigarettes and cash were stolen.
Leonard Chambers, 38, of London Road, Mitcham, Surrey, admitted the robbery on August 17, in which 580 cartons of cigarettes were stolen worth �3,700 along with �587 in cash from the North Norfolk service station.
Chambers also admitted a burglary at the same service station the day before.
Norwich Crown Court heard that Chambers had a number of previous convictions and expected to receive a lengthy jail term for this latest offence
His case was adjourned until November 17 for sentence and reports were ordered.
