An 81-year-old man has been assaulted in Trowse near the Whitlingham Visitors Centre as he fed the ducks and swans.
The victim was feeding birds at Whitlingham when a couple walked past him. The man shouted at the victim before pushing him from behind causing him to fall into the lake.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which happened sometime between 7.30pm and 7.45pm on Thursday, September 6.
The suspect is described as being in his mid 30s, about 6ft tall and was wearing a dark blue top. He was walking a lurcher type dog with a woman of a similar age who was walking a spaniel.
