A front door has been smashed in an attempted burglary in Norwich.

Police are appealing for information following the incident on Good Friday.

The attempted burglary occurred at some point between 2.20pm and 3.20pm on Friday, March 30.

Damage has been caused to the front door of a property on Stylman Road in an attempt to gain entry.

A large hole was left in the front double glazed window.

Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated, or anyone with information, should contact DC Jill Bunting at Norwich CID on 101.

In a separate crime, cash and bank cards were stolen from a Norwich property.

The burglary took place on Town Close Road between 2.30pm on Easter Sunday and 11.30am yesterday.
