A man has been arrested on suspicion of robbery following an incident which happened in Norwich earlier this week.
At approximately 8.30pm on Monday 9 July 2018 a man entered the co-op on Woodgrove Parade, Catton Grove Road. He lifted his coat revealing what is believed to be the handle of a firearm before threatening the shop assistant and making off with a quantity of cash.
Following police enquiries a suspect was identified and specialist units, including armed officers, attended an address on Burges Rd, Norwich, today.
A man aged in his 40s and from the Norwich area was arrested in connection with the incident and has been taken to Wymondham PIC for questioning.
