One hundred motorists in one hour were caught flouting bus gate restrictions in Norwich.
Police carried out patrols between 8.30am and 9.30am yesterday in Grove Road on the approach to Brazen Gate.
Those caught ignoring the no entry signs face fines of £100 and points on their licence.
Patrols were increased earlier in the year following complaints from residents about cars contravening restrictions.
PC Andy Lincoln, from Wymondham roads policing, said: 'I would encourage people who use this route in the morning to familiarise themselves with the rules of the highway.'
