A teenager and two men have been arrested after a 25-mile police pursuit from Hunstanton to Lincolnshire.
The drama began in the resort's Cliff Parade at 6.30pm on Tuesday, April 4, when the occupants of a red van tried to make off with a water bowser.
The number plate was noted down by a witness who called police. Officers stopped the van near the scene of the incident.
The teenager was arrested on suspicion of theft but the other two men drove off towards King's Lynn.
Officers followed the van to Lynn, where it made off on the A17 towards the Lincolnshire border.
The vehicle was brought to a halt at around 7.30pm, after officers deployed a stinger to deflate its tyres.
Two men in their 20s were arrested. The passenger on suspicion of theft and the driver for theft, dangerous driving and failure to stop.
They were taken to King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
