Plans to redevelop a former mental health hospital destroyed by fire more than 12 months ago will be submitted in 2018, a developer has said.
Little Plumstead Hospital's old hall, near Norwich, was gutted following a suspected arson attack in August last year.
But now, Daniel Cripps, managing director of Cripps Developments Ltd, which owns the site, has revealed that plans will be submitted next year.
He said there were 17 properties originally planned for the old hall site.
It comes as the company recently lodged an application with Broadland District Council to build 20 new homes on land at Little Plumstead Hospital West.
Along with the 20 two-storey houses, the plans seek permission to expand the nearby school's car park, and to create a car park for a walled garden.
Mr Cripps said: 'Hopefully, in the new year we will be looking to make an application [for the old hall site].'
