A man has had drugs seized from him in Long Stratton after police stopped him.
South Norfolk Police stopped the man and conducted a search, finding cannabis and class C white tablets that police believe are the tranquillizing pills Xanax, which the man did not have prescription for.
South Norfolk Police posted on Twitter at around 1am today saying: 'Male stopped tonight in #LongStratton found in possession of small amount of Cannabis and white tablets (believed to be a class C prescription drug for which he didn't have a legal reason to have). Reported for process. #1765 #160.'
The seizure comes after police conducted speed checks and drink driving checks in Ashwellthorpe, Tacolneston and Long Stratton yesterday.
The checks resulted in three reported speeding offences and three breath tests.
