A driver wanted on a European extradition warrant has been arrested in a coastal town.
Norfolk and Suffolk Roads Policing east team tweeted that the driver was arrested and vehicle was seized from Great Yarmouth in the early hours of Sunday April 8.
They said: 'East team have just stopped a vehicle in #GreatYarmouth. The driver has no licence and is wanted on a European extradition warrant in Lithuania. Driver arrested and vehicle seized.'
Sgt Gina Hopkinson, from Norfolk Police, confirmed a blue Nissan was targeted by police officers on Queen's Road in Yarmouth at 12.30am on April 8.
She added the driver had no licence.
