The fire service was called out to a building fire in Bowthorpe late last night.
Crews from Earlham and the Carrow fire stations were all called to Montgomery Close to an alert at 11.55pm.
A spokesman for the Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said they had to use hose reel jets, hand appliances and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire by 12.10am.
