Drivers were held up after a van and a car were involved in a head-on crash on the A47.
The accident happened at the single carriageway stretch at North Tuddenham, near Dereham, just after 4pm on Thursday.
The road was blocked in both directions while recovery took place.
Two people were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
