Emergency services helped at the scene of a crash in Trowse where a car had hit a deer.
Firefighters and ambulance crews went to Whitlingham Lane at 11.15pm on Friday.
Fire crews from Norwich's new Carrow station and from Sprowston helped get the casualty out of their vehicle and made the scene safe.
Fire crews had left the scene by 11.38pm.
