Plans to demolish a Great Yarmouth home furnishing shop and replace it with 14 homes are to be discussed by councillors next week.
Great Yarmouth Borough Council's development control committee will run the rule over the plans on Wednesday, which would see 73 Southtown Road knocked down to make way for 14 new houses.
The site, which is on the corner of Southtown Road and Gordon Road, is currently home to Choice Furnishings, having previously been the Anson Arms pub.
If approved, the plans would see a terrace of six houses facing Southtown Road, two pairs of semi-detached houses facing Gordon Road, and a further two pairs of semi-detached houses on the rear of the site.
In a report prepared by a council officer, the committee has been recommended to approve the plans. It comes after a plan for 22 flats on the opposite side of Gordon Road was approved by councillors.
