The team at the Norwich Cathedral took part in their annual Shrove Tuesday pancake race on the Cathedral Close's Lower Green.
The youngsters in the cathedral choir flipped off proceedings in style as they raced to the finish at the other end of the green.
Next up was the organists, but their efforts fell a little flat as two of the four competitors dropped just metres from the start.
The robust pancakes were made by personnel from RAF Marham who did a pan-tastic job making 100 pancakes for the event.
