A video of a dog bouncing in a Norwich field has become a global hit online after being uploaded by a local comedian.

The video titled 'Rosie dog in field bouncing' has been watched by nearly 200,000 people since Norwich-based comic Adam Buxton uploaded it to YouTube on Saturday.

In the 45 second clip Mr Buxton's pet dog Rosie, a black whippet cross poodle, can be seen bouncing through the long grass and jumping surprisingly high.

On uploading the video Mr Buxton tweeted: 'Oh yes, it's #Pride2016 today! Hope it's a good one. Here's Rosie bouncing in a field to celebrate.'

It has since been shared across the world with Breakfast Television in Vancouver airing the clip and a host of American web sites publishing the video.

Mr Buxton is best known as one half of the comedy duo Adam and Joe and has recently been publishing 'The Adam Buxton Podcast'. He will be appearing at the Latitude Festival at Henham Park in July where he will be involved in a talk with documentary filmmaker Louis Theroux.
