A collection day is being held for Norwich Foodbank at the Thorpe St Andrew Sainsbury's supermarket tomorrow.
Customers at the Pound Lane store will be invited to donate to the local charity's cause between 10am and 4pm.
Shoppers will be offered a shopping list that they can pick items from to buy, such as pasta and tinned vegetables.
In particular the foodbank currently needs milk, fruit juice, tinned meat and fish, baby milk, nappies and jam.
