Members of the coastguard team were called out to the aid of a person who was unwell on Great Yarmouth beach.
The Gorleston and Winterton coastguard rescue teams and the Great Yarmouth and Gorleston RNLI attended the incident on the shore at Great Yarmouth at about 11pm last night.
A coastguard spokesman said they were at the scene for about an hour and that the person was left in the care of the ambulance service.
