A haul of cigarettes was stolen in an early morning raid from a Cromer supermarket after burglars tampered with the store's alarm.
The offenders made off with the 'large quantity' of cigarettes after fiddling with the alarm at the Co-Op store in Middlebrook Way and then forcing the front door.
The incident happened at around 3.45am yesterday and police are now appealing for witnesses and information.
Anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area is asked to call DC Neil Hargreaves at Great Yarmouth Police Station on 0845 456 4567 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
