Christmas magic comes to Wymondham at Wynterfest

The market town of Wymondham was full of festive cheer this weekend as Wynterfest got under way.

The annual winter weekend festival has the whole town light up as many businesses and organisations club together for the event.

Special guest Father Christmas was led by the Norwich Pipe Band to his Grotto in Wharton's Court before some of his four legged friends came to visit.

Reindeer flew into Fairland Street to greet children before their busy night on Christmas Eve.

The Slow Theatre Company provided storytelling in the library and a mulled wine trail for the adults among other activities which had the market square buzzing.

There were numerous bands performing around the town as well as a live nativity scene at the Wymondham Baptist Church in Queen Street.

The day was put on for free by the Wymondham Town Team with programmes sold for £1 to help cover costs.
