A boy was taken to hospital with head and leg injures after he was hit by a car in Newton Flotman on Tuesday afternoon.
The East of England Ambulance service were called to the scene at St Mary's Close in the village at 3.20pm following reports of a pre-teen male being hit by a vehicle.
One ambulance crew treated the boy for head and leg injures before he was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.
He was conscious and breathing through out treatment and his injuries are not thought to be serious.
