The organiser of a charity evening at Caistor Hall Hotel in Caistor St Edmund has thanked everyone who attended for their support.
Patrick Ward organised last month's event, which featured singer Hayley Moss, raising £850 for the charities Cancer Research UK, East Anglian Air Ambulance and Men United, a prostate cancer charity.
Mr Ward, who himself has battled with a rare lung disease called Sarcoidosis, said he was delighted with the response to the fundraiser.
He said: 'Thanks to those companies, friends and family who came out to support the evening, and a special thanks to Martin Donnelly for help with the live auction.'
Mr Ward is also setting up a charity, to give people with disabilities the chance to enjoy motor sports. The charity's website is being launched at www.drdcc.org.uk
