Dog lovers are set to come together for a group walk around a Wymondham farm on Saturday, August 11 to raise money for a Norfolk sighthounds charity.
Sighthounds, also called gazehounds, are any breed of hunting dog that hunt by sight and speed, rather than by scent and endurance.
Super Sighthound Rescue has teamed up with Centre Paws Norfolk, to ask dog owners to join them for a walk around Barnards Farm, just outside Wymondham, to raise funds.
Alexandra Mandi, founder and chair of Super Sighthound Rescue said: 'We have had a tough year, mainly because of Willow who was taken in by one of our trustees as a private surrender and needed surgery on his knees.
'Willow only had two options, surgery or death and I wasn't going to let a 12-month-old baby be sentenced to death. So we fought and found the money.'
There is a £2 donation to enter the walk. For more information go to www.supersighthound.co.uk
